About SowHope
SowHope is a 501(c)(3), tax exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring
women around the world by promoting wellness, education and economic
opportunities. SowHope’s target population is the 1.5 billion women who make
less than $2 per day and our goal and desire is to work with local women who
are making a difference in their own communities and culture; we want to partner
with local leaders, using local solutions, to solve local problems.

Mary Dailey Brown was approved for employment as the President and Chief
Executive Officer of the Corporation effective February 1, 2006.
SowHope.Org was approved for tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue
Service under section 501(c)(3), effective February 8, 2006.
SowHope.Org filed a “Certificate of Assumed Name” form (DBA) with the State
of Michigan under the name SowHope on February 20, 2006.
The initial board of directors was convened on January 30, 2006
